ABOUT EVERLANE
In the fall of 2010, a then 25-year-old Michael Preysman left his job in venture capital to start his own business.
He never expected to work in fashion, but a passion for great design and frustration with the lack of innovation in the retail space, led him to build Everlane. He hasn’t looked back.
We’re a motley group held together by a shared passion for pushing boundaries and challenging conventions.
We work in an airy office in San Francisco’s Mission, with a small team in New York City as well. It’s challenging at times, but we visit each other often.
In traditional retail, a designer shirt is marked up 8x by the time it reaches the customer. At Everlane, we believe customers have the right to know what their products cost to make, so we reveal our true costs, and then show you our markup.
From our LA-made tees to our hand-crafted Italian loafers, all of our products are made at ethical factories, from the finest materials, and sold without traditional markups.
